Carpentry/Joinery course
The course teaches students how to properly use and maintain carpentry tools. Another key objective is the production of furniture such as tables, chairs, and benches. They also learn how to make tools such as hammers, planks, and planes themselves.
Another focus of the curriculum is learning about building construction, for example, in house building.
A Bible-based discipleship program is integrated into the curriculum.

The Goal
The trained carpenters can produce furniture and tools for themselves and their community. This creates a new source of income. However, MSP’s training focuses on the whole person and is not limited to technical skills. The goal is also for the students to come to know Jesus Christ better. In this way, their faith in God can grow and be strengthened.
Mechanic Courses
In addition to participating in classes at the Bible Institute, there are also regular opportunities for mechanic courses for students. One afternoon per week, students are taught the basics and learn how engines are constructed, what their components are called, and how to assemble them. This will enable them to later repair the engines of boats, brush cutters and chainsaws independently in their villages, sometimes far from the nearest workshop.

God sees people with all their needs. Therefore, I am convinced that technical training courses are a good complement to the training courses at the Bible Institute. In this way, we strengthen the skills of the indigenous population and also contribute to improving the quality of life and the progress of the communities. I am thrilled that there is also room in the technical training courses to teach biblical truths. This allows us to invest in the spiritual life of the participants.
